If you would like to add color to your pages, one idea is to paint the edges like the example here!
For this book, I have used watercolor paints and painted each day a different color. I just painted the edges. NOTE: if you choose to paint, be sure to insert a heavy piece of paper between your pages in case your paint bleeds through.
You can add decorative tape to the edges or outlines of sections...
You can doodle the edges of your sections...
I discovered that permanent markers tend to bleed through even though this is a heavier paper. No worries, there are lots of options for markers!
You can enhance your dividing pages with decorate tape, stickers, or cutouts...

You can decorage every page if you choose. Here I have painted the edges, added decorative tape, added a bought sticiker and created my own artwork.
